Let me introduce myself, my name is Elle Coulson, I’m an amateur National champion from Notts based in a small mining town of Worksop.
By showing year on year progression within the amateur ranks in different weight classes! I feel now is the time to set my sights on doing the business and trying my utmost to be as good as I can possibly be in the professional ranks.
I’ve been boxing since 12 years old after previously educating myself in the arts of gymnastics and trampolining, which couldn’t be further away from the love of my life now in the noble art and that’s what I feel it is in boxing.
One day I walked into the doors of the Xbox boxing academy and my life along with my dreams simply became visibly clear. I was greeted by my coach Chris and what evolved was trust and belief.
My boxing journey hasn’t always been one sided. I’ve had my dips but the funny thing is I’ve always pulled myself back into the limelight and out of the shadows. between myself and my coach Chris Boyle of Xbox boxing academy Worksop which is now also known credibly as Boyle’s pro boxing.
I remember many people saying that this wasn’t gonna be something i‘d settle at but I’ve made sure I’ve stuck to the task at hand and one by one proved them all wrong.
After winning my first three fights myself and chris just new something unique was happening. Where I’d struggled badly in academic studies I’d flourished inside the gym walls.
Boxing and the love and belief my coach has in me has shown me that anything is possible in life as long as you don’t give up on living. My mum and dad have always been extremely supportive and so proud of myself and my dedication to a single goal in life, my brother also boxes with my amateur club so we’ve been there for one another inside and outside of the ring. Currently I have won national box cups in Hull, East Midlands and abroad in Ireland.
I’ve also won a National title in the middleweight English title at youth level which I currently still hold undefeated.
I’ve experienced the best in the U.K., Ireland and Europe so now it’s my time to become a professional athlete with my loyal partner boxing. Over a three year period I remained mainly unbeaten winning every single box cup including the Irish championship The winter box cup.
I’ve also been on the National England pathway team, which was good experience but life away from my club and my coach just isn’t for me, I believe we start the journey together and we will finish it together. And I’d love your support to begin the next part of my journey .
So far I’ve sparred the best out there in two time Olympic champion Nicola Adams in three of her pro camps. WBC champion Terri Harper and commonwealth champion Nina Bradley.
My goal is not an easy one as I want to be the best. But by being the best I can be I believe it’s very reachable. I aim to make my own history now and I will do this. And I want you to be part of my journey and my story. Are you brave enough to take a chance and join us ?
You already know a little bit about me and how I got into boxing so let me tell you a little bit about me as a person.
